Johnny Knoxville Assures Fans His Penis Still Works After Gruesome Injury in 2007

Johnny Knoxville has sustained more bludgeoning than some professional fighters in his tenure as the star of MTV’s Jackass, and he has the scars to prove it—some of which are in the most tender of places.

In a recent interview with Variety while promoting Jackass Forever, the fourth installment in the wildly popular movie spinoff series, Knoxville spoke about one of the most painful injuries he endured in the name of entertainment, recalling the time in 2007 when he broke his penis after attempting to flip a motorcycle.

“I broke my gym dog a number of years ago,” he said. “That’s been well documented. So much has been said about so little… The doctor said a couple centimeters down and it would’ve been out of commission.”

The incident left Knoxville wearing a catheter for over three years, but he was quick to reassure readers that it is still fully functional.”But I’ve had two children since then, so it’s in great working order,” he said, adding: “That’s too much information.”

While Knoxville’s next project will see him taking part in WWE’s Royal Rumble, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning for another Jackass movie if the audience demand is still there. “I mean, it could go on…we could do another one if we wanted,” he said. “I don’t know if we want to, but we could let the old guys come in and have fun, but put it more on the young cast. I don’t know. After [the first two films], we’re like ‘Never.’ And then there we made a third one and now we make a fourth one. So, we’re never saying never.”
