Gigi Hadid Got Curtain Bangs Before the Holidays and Over 3.6M People Approve

Gigi Hadid, like many other celebrities, has worn clip-on bangs in the past to events. But this time, she’s ready to have fringe for real. The model debuted her pre-holiday haircut on Instagram, revealing she got curtain bangs. “fresh snow fresh cut,” she wrote. Over 3.6 million people liked her post within the first seven hours she published it.

Chris Appleton, celebrity hairstylist to Kim Kardashian-West, J.Lo, and Dua Lipa, told ELLE.com in November that curtain bangs are a big trend this season. “We did curtain bangs on J.Lo a few weeks ago, and people loved them,” he explained. “I think they are also an easy way to give hair a fresh look without having to style it too much, which is what people are looking for right now, especially being on Zoom calls all day.”

Hadid, by the way, was seen out in New York City’s Soho on Tuesday, prior to getting her haircut, pushing her daughter in a Bugaboo stroller. The model gave the public the first look at her new mom street style and bundled up in a long black coat, a jean jacket, black pants, a newsboy cap, hoop earrings, a black mask, and sunglasses. Her sister Bella Hadid joined her, wearing all black as well: a long black coat, leather gloves, black boots, a black scarf, and a matching beanie. It was very New York of the two sisters, who both own multi-million dollar property in downtown Manhattan.
